Retail Attachment Rate
The share of service transactions that also include a retail product purchase.
Definition
Retail attachment rate shows how often a guest buys retail during a service visit. It helps spa operators understand whether product recommendations are turning into actual basket lift.
Example
If 100 service tickets are closed and 28 include retail, the retail attachment rate is 28 percent.
Why It Matters
A healthy retail attachment rate should not come from pressure. The strongest rates usually appear when product recommendations clearly extend the benefit of the treatment.
